Proof of origin required for Taiwan's exports to the U.S.
Please refer to the origin source---

Taiwan ITA has made a pre-examination process to meet the requirement from the US customs and border protection to declare and to provide
proof of origin
for specific exports ahead of customs clearance in Taiwan, including CCF's finished goods chair parts from Taiwan shipping to America.
However, CCF is required by Taiwan ITA to sign up a declaration paper of
proof of origin
to ensure all of our products being exported to the states are Made In Taiwan and also with MIT
labeling
in order to smoothly pass through US customs to buyers.
Taipei, April 26 (CNA)
Starting May 7 2025
, documents declaring the origin of products made in Taiwan for export to the United States will be required, to prevent items produced elsewhere from using Taiwan as a transit channel to evade higher tariffs imposed by Washington, according to the International Trade Administration (ITA) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA).
